What should I do?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for opinions on what I should do.

I have two RX7's. I have a 1988 vert that is in really good shape. 39k miles original on her now. It appears from the card as that she was in an accident at some point in time, but the driveline is fine. Just a rough Bondo job on the back.

I also have a 10th AE that I purchased that is likely to need a lot of work body/interior wise. There seems to be a decent amount of rust underneath, but it doesn't appear to be rusted through. I haven't been able to dig through the motor, but it runs.

I was thinking about just doing the T2 swap on my vert, because I now have everything for it.

I kind of at an impasse, realizing how much all the body/odds and ends will cost on the 10th AE. Id appreciate any input/insight that people have.

thank you in advance,

Convertibles=slow
Convertibles with turbo=slightly less slow

Keep the vert the way it is, and rebuild the 10thAE, there were only 1500 10AEs made, you figure in 30 years (next year) that probably more than half are melted back down, the 10AE will do nothing but go up in price IMO, especially one redone as original as possible

Just my chump change thoughts

in my opinion, rust is very tough to control once it takes hold, so it really depends on just how bad the 10th AE is.

I need to get completely under it to see the extent of damage. I didn't know how much of it can be corrected. I've just ran into many things I didn't realize on it. I'm tracing down what I'm guessing is a hack job abs removal now.

I saw a guy selling one on FB that needs a paint job and some interior work and he's asking 6k. People are laughing at the poor guy.
