Rx7 cranks but won’t start
Anyone know why my car won’t start ? It cranks but won’t start unless I spray starter fluid but it dies right after. It was running fine before I had my fuel injectors rebuilt ever since then it won’t start . Any idea??

welcome to the board. :)
first thing that comes to mind is if you removed the fuel lines, then make sure you do not have them reversed now. second thing is to make sure the injectors are getting power to them. if not, have a look for the ground wire on that part of the harness. here is a link to the FSM if you don't already have reference material: Foxed.ca |

how did you test the pressure?
well, if you confirmed that the injectors are firing, then are you sure it's not just flooded? |

Testing fuel pressure at the return line won't work. It will always show a low pressure.
You need to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail. But don't bother checking fuel pressure. The injectors should not spray if you squeeze the line. Who "rebuilt" the injectors? What did they do? Is the AFM plugged in properly? When you removed the upper intake, are you absolutely sure EVERYTHING is plugged back in where it should be? Vacuum lines, electrical connectors? |

And yes the afm seems to be plugged in. Yes everything was plugged in correctly I made sure to double check but I will give it a 3rd check just in case. Also noticed that 2 fuel Injector connectors were missing the clip could that contribute to the problem as well? This is my first time having a big issue with my car since I bought it btw, my bad for all the questions 😂 |
if your checks and triple-checks turn out okay, then try this: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...engine-604886/
