Renesis FC3S questions

I have a complete renesis pull from a 2004 rx8 with ecu and tans (6spd) only major components I don't have are rx8 fuel pump, gauge cluster or gas pedal for DBW.

basically I have a 1987 roller that I am going to stuff this into but I am wondering if I can use the stock rx8 ecu and flash it to run cable throttle and a walbro 255?

I have read some forums through the search function about being able to replace the front cover, gears, and OMP, to an older setup (FB,FC) to run the older ecu's on them. I would like to retain the rx8 ecu for multiple reasons, I already have it, 32 bit, flashable, better fuel and spark tables for economy purposes.

thanks guys
Jessie

i dont see a problem with the fuel pump, the Rx8 basically works the same way as the T2's did, two speed pump. its just returnless but that is just one less thing to hook up..

you will need to find an Rx8 gas pedal, shouldn't be hard

Won't the rx8 ecu throw a lot of CEL codes without the EVAP or ignition demobiliser? Or can I flash/tune them out similar to the Evo and Subaru ecus?

yeah it will but you could just plug all that stuff in. the evap is just the leak pump and a solenoid, and since its returnless, you have a port for it and it may actually work as designed.

its Mazda its mostly simple stuff.

if you really wanted to be a baller you could get an ECU from a market that didn't have the immobilizer
