Racing Beat Rev II Exhaust

On their website they claim that their system gives a 60 HP gain compared to stock. Is this really true?

From what I've read around here I believe that is possible on a turbo car. That system is only for a turbo really. It'd take some custom work to adapt it to a n/a and the piping would be too large anyway. The gains are from the increase in boost from the added flow going to the 3" DP/ pre-silencer and 2.375" after the Y gives you on a turbo car.

Yes, the gains are that big on turbo FCs. Removing the cats makes a huge difference and allows the turbo to breathe much easier. It also sounds awesome.

Its true, but to attain that without blowing your motor up requires supporting modifications to the fuel system & engine management/ECU. In other words, don't do this with your stock ECU/fuel system and expect your motor to last very long. There are probably some fine-print disclaimers on the RB website that speak to this.

They do state "Note: A fuel cut controller device is required to prevent fuel cutoff to the rear rotor above the factory pre-set limit." Though I gather it's not the best solution the FCD beats nothing.

You should be fine if you have a ported wastegate and a fuel cut defender.
