Massive auto transmisson leak
I have a 89 FC vert with the auto transmission and NA motor. The car dumped all its transmission fluid right as i got home a couple months ago, so I got new front and rear seals and had them replaced by a reputable mechanic. When i started it this morning all the trans fluid quickly came pouring out of the car, from the drain hole in the bellhousing again. Tran dipstick was totally dry when its usually quite high. Obviously there's a bigger problem if it happened again this soon, what the hell is going on with it?!

need to get it on a lift and have it checked while it's leaking, it may not be the torque converter seal at all but the pump seals are dry to the case.

I can jack it up and look underneath, how can i go about adding fluid while its up?

put it in the car while its not running. if its registering somewhere near normal with it off you should be ok to start it, the level drops once the engine is running as it doesn't need to be reading perfect while you are checking it.

Pour the trans fluid through the dip stick port.
