Gas Pedal No Pressure
my cars was sitting for almost 2 years before I got it and the gas pedal seems unresponsive and doesn’t have any pressure. i haven’t started it but when i push down on it it just feels mushy, like i could push it down with just a finger. i don’t want to crank my car and have something happen so could anybody help with this?

Considering your pedal is connected to the throttle body via a cable, you can easily and visually observe if something is wrong. Just watch the throttle as someone actuated the pedal. If the throttle moves, no problem.

The throttle cable has likely popped out of the U shaped bracket that secures it to the dynamic chamber. There is a nut on either side of the mount and the mount is made out of rubber. Loosen the nuts a little and insert the mount back into the bracket and tighten the nuts on either end slightly. That's the first place I would look. Otherwise the cable has either snapped, which I have never seen happen on an FC or it has somehow worked itself loose from the throttle body's arm, which I also have never seen happen on an FC. Keep us updated with what you find.
