Uspare,

Congrats on your 86 FC. In order to help you further, please follow these recommendations:

1. Please use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The run-on sentences seen in your post does not make much sense. Are you asking for help or making a statement? Use the "Preview Post" button at the bottom of the text entry box and PROOF READ your comments.
2. Do you have the Factory Service Manual (FSM)? If not, then please download and study it. The section you should read pertains to the Engine Electrical System.
3. Please use the "Search" function, it can help you find most of the common problems with the car.

4. What did you observe, check, test, and/or find after the battery was installed?
5. How was the battery tested - was it load tested at an auto parts store (Autozone, Advanced, etc...)?
6. Was the battery connected to the car properly - Negative (-) battery terminal to Ground wire and Positive (+) battery terminal to Positive (+) wire? If the battery cables were reversed then severe damage to the car may result!
7. What do you mean by "...this time I have sparks from somewhere and now I have nothing"?
8. Where did those "sparks" come from? Did you smell and/or see smoke?
9. Did you have any other electrical work done on the car?

Cheers,
George

clean and tighten your battery terminals.

Yes I do have the manual. The battery was tested at Walmart auto and auto zone. Both places said battery was good.
when the battery was put back in it tries to crank but would not start. The lights worked, the horn worked. I tried again the next
day and when I turned key this time is when I saw sparks. I did not smell anything. It appeared the sparks were somewhere
around the motor. Yes I am asking for help to get my baby running again.

Uspare,

Make sure you inspect and tighten any lose connection between the battery, chassis ground, engine ground wire(s), and the starter. Check both Positive (+) and Negative (-) cables. Roughly 90% of electrical wiring problems occur within 1" from a connector.

Also be sure to check the main fuse box (in engine bay) and the fuse box inside the cabin for any blown fuses.

If the car still does not want to start then check for spark & fuel. Refer to the FSM on these topics. If these all check out and the car cranks but does not start then the engine may be flooded. That requires a de-flood procedure.

Please provide feedback on what worked.

Cheers,
George
