Charging light with buzzer
I've read up on all 1st gen and 2nd gen specifc threads pertaining to this problem and none have solved it for me yet. Yesterday morning i started my car and rhe add coolant light and buzzer came on. I shut it off inspected and had plenty of coolant so i bleed the coolant system and that fixed the problem. I mistakenly asked my father for an extra hand and he ended up getting coolant all over the engine bay and then proceded to wash it off with a hose without covering ANY OF MY ELECTRICAL COMPONETS 😑😑. Anyway with the air bubble out and the warning lights and buzzer off the car does fine for a few hours until the buzzer started going off and my altenator charge light came on. Which is off because i thought only coolant temp, oil capacity, and rpm range could set off the buzzer? I have a little over the "full" marker in my plastic coolant resevoir and the oil level is right below F and has never gone off at that level before. Im almost positive this problem is due to a short somewhere in the engine bay but im stumped. Any sugggestions?
