Bee*R rev limiter

I recently bought a bee r and have been trying to go off threads to figure out how to wire it I've tried about everything and I'm stumped. I currently have the yellow wire on pin 3E and green on 3G and it bangs around 6k rpm and non of the controls work on it i know the wires are sposed to be switched but then nothing works and ive tried putting the yellow on 1g and cutting the gray instead of the brown wire, nothing works.
I have a 89 fc with ecu 353 I've gone off a 89 fc pinout because i read only the first two numbers really matter and I couldn't find a s5 vert pinout.

you're going to use pin out M11 in the bee-r instructions. forget everything else. bee r knows how to install their product.... assuming you have a real one

I went by that and put the green wire into pin 3E which would be crank angle sensor NE+ then yellow into 3G which would be crank angle sensor G+ nothing happened but if I switch the wires it cuts at about 6k.
People have said to put yellow to 1g which would be trailing ignition coil to sense the rpm and still nothing.

where did you get the unit from and where do you have the trigger set to?

got a old one from a friend so no idea if it's real or not I've tried all the settings and nothing works still. I also tried connecting the white wire and the second rev control does not work and the gain does not work.

Where...... do you have the trigger set to? Where is the location of the trigger wire? What did you tap the trigger wire into?

I had it ran to the ground for the handbrake.

If you followed the wiring instructions correctly and the trigger for the ebrake is functional then you have a problem with thr unit. If you have an older style with the dip switches then try setting them. The bee r is very simple and it either works or doesn't. There isn't really anything to troubleshoot outside of that

I've read of other people having the same problems with the s5 vert but they don't write how to fix it. I'll mess around with it more and see what I can do.

Likely because they didn't.... we've installed quite a few of these and can say, if the instructions are followed and it doesn't work then it's the box. If you keep messing with the wiring that this thing is associated with you're likely to hurt something. Buy another box from a trusted source so you know you're getting a real one. They are not cheap
