ACV clean up
Is there a write up for opening up an ACV and cleaning it and checking the two sensors.
Ive been searching for some info and have not found much If not I might post some pics since I am in the process of doing so in my S5 n/a 91 rx7 the springs inside were very stiff and some gaskets were cracked so decided to get some silicone gasket maker |

here are a few pics of my clean up
I made sure there were no rips and clean around it with a bit of sand paper Attachment 639045 This gasket was cracked to i had to clean it out and make a gasket for it Attachment 639046 Attachment 639047 I oiled up the springs Attachment 639048 Attachment 639049 Attachment 639050 Also make sure its not torn Attachment 639051 Attachment 639052 Attachment 639053 Not much of a write up of how to do it, but i thought i should provide pics for future reference |
