What's required to run a 20B on carbs?

I've been looking, but have been turning up fairly empty handed.

The mobile search function is crap on iPhones...

here are some pics of 3 rotor carb intake. i have been wanting to do this for a while now. i was searching on the su carbs but i dont think they will flow enought for a 20b

Mostly. I'm trying to figure out the timing split.

Trying to run leading & trailing spark on 3 rotors, with a distributor is what I'm trying to figure out.

Racing beat sells a kit to modified a 12a distributor to run the 20b

There is no need to run any split if your not going turbo.
And that is one of the hardest things you will have to figure out since your not going to run a ecu.
Id look into that racing beat distributor as the 20b fires 120* as oppose to the 13b firing every 180*

it depends on which SU's you pick, actually since the SU is straight thru when its WOT, they flow quite well. i'd think three 2" SU's would be plenty, it should flow about like a 3 barrel IDA.

it looks like they are more expensive than a Weber or a PMO, and getting THREE carbs to be consistent is not easy

chiquito1228 12-03-12 07:41 PM

I think the 4 barrel intake witha nice carb will be better and easier to tune .

Prometheus 12-07-12 02:19 PM

after looking at Racing Beat's distributor setup, I have figured out how to make the ignition work.
