Fuel and Oil

Hi all,

I wouldn't have started a new thread, but the title of my old one is awfully narrow, and woefully off track.

I am trying to plan out a 20B engine. So far I don't really know what works for fuel. People keep telling me ITBs are the way to go, but I wanted to ask here to make sure. Also I don't know much about injector sizes.

I am also going to use a dry sump system, and I was wondering if the mazdaspeed 13B dry sump will supply enough oil for 3 rotors?

This will be a naturally aspirated, peripheral port engine using RX-8 rotors and aluminum side housings. GURU aluminum center plate definitely if it comes out within the next two years. NRS ceramic seals likely. Halltec E-11. Aiming for 450hp@9,000RPM, 400 through to the wheels of an RX-8 with a new driveline.

Build won't begin for two years. Want to keep the block under $30,000 with $10 left for the install and tune. I plan to have everything figured out before I touch anything, right down to turning the key. That way I can limit the price of the install.

Wouldn't mind pump gas either...we have nice BP 93 octane. It's not like there isn't a 100 pump around here, but it's in a shit neighborhood of all places and not easy to get to.

Thanks,
-Falken
