I bought a 20B and am in the process of stripping it down. The other day I was bored and surfing on 'the bay" and saw this:

I figured it might be nice to have a spare one in case I blow one up. I also got a set of rotors and housings from a forum member here. Now all I need is a set of irons and I'll have all the spare parts I need.

good call.. build a spare. I was going to buy a spare and tear it down but it might work better building from 13b parts.

I wish i could get an afford custom 4 rotor shaft for 10a rotors OR STUMBLE ACROSS ONE.. Would be amazing to build. LIL SIDE NOTE... one can dream

Was that E-shaft from one of the first production run 20b's? It looks like it's just 3 numbers without the letter precursor, and IIRC, the first run e-shafts were more prone to flex and break and such...just wondering...

I was wondering the same thing but bought it anyway. Are the letters stamped on the housings the same as the ones on the e-shaft?

As for the shafts flexing I believe I read that it was when using the sequentials in series that the flexing occured and that even then it was rare. I was considering eventually going with a peripheral or bridge port n/a with the second 20B so it may not be as much of an issue.

I made an iq3 dash mount that makes the iq3 removable from the front instead of only the rear. meaning if you need to access the rear usb port. you dont have to take the dash apart just undo it from the front. I then modified the oem dash to accept the universal mount I created.
The mount is available for sale for 125$, comes with plastic template that can be used for making what I made myself (fiberglass mold) and a sheet of asb cut out to accept the iq3 mount making it universal to block out oem gauges and gauge holes for the dash mount!
