CAS position with Microtech ECU

So I have been having problems with getting my timing in on my 20B and after checking everything I finally got some information from Microtech that might be the answer. What has been throwing me is I have the CAS stabbed in nicely with the pointers inside the CAS just coming onto the corners of the sensors like everyone says. When I try and time it it reads about 15degs advance, to get it back in I need to adjust the CAS around as far as it will go one way in the slot. Which, incidently, stalls it. I thought this couldn't be right. hence I have been checking everything. Microtech have sent me a picture of a CAS on their own 20B which is adjusted just like this implying that hard around one way is in fact correct.
Can anyone else running a Microtech confirm if theirs is the same, I guess it may well depend on the coil setup being used. Mine is stock 20B coils direct fire from the ECU. Would be great for a second confirmation this is right. if it is I am lucky my engine isn't toast!

Thanks

Lee

I know this has come up before but after reading a number of threads I cannot find if this is right as Microtech have implied or if there is something else a miss?
It seems odd why it should be different to a factory timing setting but then it is an aftermarket ECU and I guess could be processing/triggering in a different way? So maybe not totally unreasonable.
