The cost all depends on what parts you have to begin with but 10k is a good average.

Help I need explanantions of which way to go...
I'm looking for a JDM Swap to go with. My friends keep trying to push the LS conversion people are doing, but i'm really interested in the 20B, 20B-REW, or just saying forget all the hassle and go supra...can someone help me out by giving a breakdown of each...also will the 6spd transmission work on the 20B/20B-REW motors or will i need to make some modifications....take into consideration that rotaries are not fuel efficient, which do you think would be the best option?...please help...

Does any one know if the 20B power steering pump produces more psi than the 13B one does?
And if it does how much? |
They both run between 1100-1200psi, (if in good condition)
one off an fd3s runs pretty much the same pressures but its allowable lower limit is a bit lower (around 1050psi) So to answer your question in a word....no Please note that those readings are with the oil at operating temp and engine rpm between 1000-1500rpm |

Dash cluster
It seems to me that all who drop a 20B into their RX7 must face rewiring the dash cluster. If there any write up on how to do this anywhere?

Excellent info and write up thank you, I too would like to put in a 20B engine in my STARXQUEST someday, rebuild it myself more than likely to keep the price around 10K, fab up all my own work as well so even with new seals, springs, bearings, titanium studs, oil pan brace, twin disc clutch, nice turbo(s) and all the basic rebuild and strengthening goodies, it shouldn't co$t me more than 15k, give or take a couple grand...

is it possible to make a three rotor using all s4 TII housings and irons(but would use s5TII rear iron) and adding in the center plate? will the 20 b eshaft work, would I need a 20b front cover?
