20B/13B OMP How it works?
 

Does anyone know how the stock OMP functions. I have one apart and there is a plunger inside it.. what I need to know is doe the oil flow more when the plunger is pushed right in or when it is right out?
I have tried putting oil in the little reservoir in the housing and turning it to see but I don't seem to get any flow at all? I could be turning it the wrong way (although I have tried both) or maybe I need something to spin it much faster.

if someone knows the answer that would be great.

from memory the longer the stroke the more that is pumped.

Thanks for that link.. I will try and find the one on the denso pump. Never seen one like they have pulled apart in that thread but it would sure be good to get hold of one as it looks a lot easier to convert to a manual type!

If your wanting to change your 20b setup to a manual type, off the top of my head a s4 omp is going to be your best bet, would be best to compare output volume of both pumps before committing.

I haven't found one that is manual and has the same bolt pattern as the 20b housing yet? Maybe I missed something.
The Mikuni OMP looks like it could be simple to convert to a manual operation as it is rotary controlled as a pose to linear.

Will do a bit more research though.
