Worth it?

I have the opportunity to get my hands on a glass sunroof for a very, very reasonable price, but the hardware on it is in less than happy condition. i know i can replace the latching mechanism on it with the one from my metal sunroof, but what about the two tabs that hold down the front? with everything on it being pretty much rusted out to being worthless and not very water proof is it worth it? is there some sort of aftermarket deal i can go after?

the tinting on it is screwed up, too........but i think i can remove that and replace it fairly easily.

36 per hinge seems a little steep to me when i can use the hinges from my metal one. the only pieces i need are the 6 bolts that keep the water out. if i could find a replacement for those I'll pick it up tomorrow. it'll go fast, too. any idea where i can get those parts?

look around you will find em

So far no luck finding them. I'll debate about the sunroof on my drive over to it, I need some other parts from the particular car as well.

For what it's worth to you, I can usually fetch $200 for a glass sunroof. So if it is under $100 don't pass it up

i opted not to get it, with the broken hardware on it and the tinting being less than satisfactory, I left it. unless someone wants me to get it for them, i'll leave it.
