Windows always coming off track

I'm starting to wish I'd just kept my falling apart stock regulators. Since I ordered the black dragon regulators the windows refuse to stay on their tracks. This has caused me to remove the door cards and leave them off just so when I go grocery shopping I'm not spending 20 minutes taking the card off, fixing the window and putting it back on before I go inside. Does anyone have any experience with the black dragon regulators or any idea how to fix this problem?

Hey Jing - maybe your GLASS GUIDE piece is buggered? this is a separate piece to the actual regulator.
Here is the page out of the 83FB parts book. The PN 8871-58-603 or -59-603 depending which side. The item is labeled on the image as: 58760
I think these are still avai if yours is broken, tho it might just be a matter of adjusting yours? It has a set screw (or: is supposed to! is yours there?) in it for some sort of adjusting…
OR
there is also (on the same page)
a piece that seems to attach to the rear bottom of the glass, called "grommet, screw" and the book says it takes 4 of these. Not sure if this helps anchor the rear of the window in place somehow too?? Its ID numbered as 72502A on the diagram (you need to cross ref this for the actual PN there )

I had this issue a couple winters ago where the window would get crooked and pop out of the track.

That little bolt doesn't move much, but it makes a big difference. Try just a little one way or another and tighten it down, then wind the window up and down a few times.

Had this problem on almost every rx7 I've owned. I usually grind in a little adjustment on that bolt. I've fixed everyone like that

In reference to what j_tso and Mike P said, the hole that little bolt sits in can be slotted just a tiny bit. A couple mm makes a huge difference. I had to do it once to raise the window up.
