Window Loose

I have a 80' rx7, and the window does not stay on track while rolling it up (drivers side). My question is does anyone know what i need to fix this, and where i can get parts to fix this?
Also, i was wondering if anyone could help me choose a new carb for the car. Need one that will increase power, yet easy to tune.

Thank you,
Bill

Most likely your track is loose/broke.

Take the door panel off and inspect the linkage, getting replacement parts for our cars is difficult sometimes, but places like Kragens, mazda, and the junkyards might have them

As for your carb question use the search function I believe there is a large thread on that somewhere.

The Field Service Manual (FSM) has a section on how to properly adjust window tracks, which can help you a lot.

Downloadable from the FAQ.

They can come loose with age, break, or the track liner can wear out, all of which will cause your symptoms.

Black Dragon Auto, and MazdaTrix, carry some replacements for door internals. Not cheap, but unless you strike gold in the junkyard or on a parts car, sometimes the only choice.
