hi guys, i found some wheels for my car and im wondeirng if they will fit just fine without any clearance issues. heres his description, i have an rx7 fb. i think GS model.

"Original Enkei 92 from 80s in amazing condition. Super rare 4x110 PCD, should fit Mazda Rx2 rx3 rx4 rx7, 929. Come with Goodyear tires 195/50/R15."

I'm looking at your 4th pic and can't make out the offset. 20mm offset is good for 7" wide rims on FBs. I have 15x7 et20 on my 85 and they fit great, but they're not Enkei's.

lucky fucker...........

zooming in on that pic looks like offset is 7.

Richard Miller 04-20-19 04:51 AM

I see a 17 for offset.

Maxwedge 04-20-19 06:53 AM

Stock wheels are 5.5 wide with 17 offset. How wide are the Enkei's were looking at?

I have 7" wide w/20 offset and they fit great on my GS.

OP can you put one on and see, or is this an internet sale?

This is my 7" wide x 20mm et

i have 15x7 with 7 offset 92's on mine, they basically sit flush to the outside fenders. you want to keep the 195's unless you can add some negative camber in the front.

i'm running 225/50/15's on mine, but i think next set i'm going to 205's

Looks like the rears stick out a little?
The 225 looks good actually.

I wanted enkei 92's. Couldn't find any. Those are the best FB wheels.

Maxwedge 05-02-19 05:18 PM

Enkei 92's are plentiful. In silver, gold and black.

EDIT - I'm sorry, didn't realize the 4x110's were discontinued. I have been looking at 4x114.3's for a while, which are plentiful.

LiLDorito 05-03-19 08:32 AM

I had a set of the enkei on the rear of my sa. 195s too. They fit well.

I think that is a 7mm offset. I have these wheels on my 85GSL 15"x7" they look right, and don't rub with 205s the 225s that were on the rear did rub a little. Nice find!

Ok. I think I finally got a hold of him. He dissapeared from Craigslist and into eBay. Price went from 600 for the rims plus tires (which are in good shape) to just the rims for 1000 on eBay -_-

I'm asking him if we can do stuff locally for the old price. I'm not holding my breath though.

But if things somehow work out. They are 7 offset. So would they work? I haven't seen them in person yet

<<oooops!

Zenobia K'ael 06-16-19 12:47 PM

what lug nuts do these rims take? do they use the stock lug nuts or somethign special?

Zenobia K'ael 06-16-19 02:02 PM

Double post

Maxwedge 06-16-19 07:03 PM

The stock lug bolts won't work - the heads are too big for anything except the stock wheels. You'll need to install studs and use lug nuts with a 60 deg mounting face (very common). Mazdatrix can set you up with these.

Zenobia K'ael 06-16-19 10:14 PM

well, they work! :D just drove home on them, gotta say i wasnt really sold on the aesthetics of them until i saw them on. the look nice :)

1BADRX7 06-17-19 01:40 AM

Since you've got them on might as well post pictures for us.:icon_tup:

My car is in dire need of a washing. :3 i like the way they look, bonus points, i wanted them for the more useful tire options.

Sorry man, I was wrong. The stock lug bolts don't work on my (Rota) Panasport knock-offs, but they work fine on Enkei 92s. My mistake, and congratulations! Those rims look great on your ride!
