Will swapping ecu and harness work?
 

I was looking through the 1st gne archive and see if I could find anything but couldn't. I am wondering of you could take an -se ecu and harness and swap it out with the computer that came in my car. I was just thinking about converting from carb to EFI. I heard that you have to splice the harness and all that to make it work. Is there no way to make it work if you just swap over from say a 2nd gen if you swap the computer and harness? I have a 2nd gen engine but I was just wondering if this would be possible? For those of you have swapped to EFI how did you do it? I need help because I am thinking about doing. I guess it depends on the difficulty level on whether I do it or not.
