will not turn off?!?!??!?!?

Ok so here's whats going on, when I turn my key off the car stays running. It seems like its running on one rotar though. So the car is a gsl-se with a s4 6 port swap, rb intake manifold eldelbrock carb, carter fuel pump with a 30amp realy, kill switch, direct wired through the realy, so it shouldn't effect the electrical part of the engine. If I hit tje kill switch the car turns off after the floats empty, but with the key out all my lights on my dash stay on like the ignition is on. Checked all fuses they are good. I can get the dash lights to turn off if I pull the engine fuse. So shy idea what would cause this issue anyone had it before?

unplug the 2-wire pigtail connector behind the alternator

Move your power to one that is switched with ignition and it should shut off, I have the same issue right now.

Stock car is turned off when 12v to the + terminals of the coils is disconnected by the main relay, which is powered by the ignition switch. You have continuous 12v going to at least 1 of those coil terminals. Two round, black, rubber covered main relays on the left (driver) side of the engine compartment against the fire wall. One has a Black/yellow wire which supplies 12v to the coils when the Black/white wire turns the relay on with 12v from the ignition switch.

Found the relay, it was upside down outside of the rubber thing that held it, I put it back and problem solved. I guys those have to be straight up and down to work correctly. A pretty odd issue
