why run premix?
 
hey, this is my first car and first 7 i was just wonderin i heard some people talkin about premix and i didnt see the point of puttin oil in your gas? thanxs nick

i didnt see the point of puttin oil in your gas
To lubricate everything. Putting it in yourself basically insures that you always have (enough) oil lubricatiing things rather than relying on the OMP.

I think the rotary is basically a 2-cycle oil consumeing engine....Thats why its OK to run pre-mix.....Or am I wrong

Because, it's fun to watch the kids working at the gas station scatch their heads and look at you like you're an idiot. It's even better why you go buy some and there is clearly a picture of a chainsaw on the front, sooo true.
