Who makes wheel flares these days!

I just upgraded to some big wheel/tires for autocross.
275/35/15 on 10 wide wheels if anyones curiouse.

I dont need them but Id like some flares to cover up the large amount of rubber sticking out of the front and year. Im talking 2.5 to 3 inches of rubber poking out.

thanks ahead of time!

Mike

No one. You have to make your own or fab some from 240/280Z flares. Also heard that mid 80's Cabrio flares bolt up with a little trimming.

You running r6's? I'd love to see a picture of those on the wheel. That's the same size I am looking into running. Thought about trying the r6's on the street, but it sounds like they would get torn up fast.

I bet the car looks like a pair of roller skates. :)

The 275's stick out 2.5 inches from the wheel well and extend inward till the hoosier lettering about rubs the Ground Control Spring/Perch setup.
just enough room for deflection hopefully. It looks a little strange to see such big rubber on small car. just taking the new wheel out of the box was a HOLY SH*T experiance.

5 inch backspacing is just a tad to little if your ordering wheels.
itll fit but any tire deflection will cause rubbing.
5.25 of if you can get it, or just get a spacer.

Anyways, Im lazy, I didnt want to "MAKE" flares.
car has nice paint, didnt want to fubar it all up.

well...manntis is actually working on making some flares now :D, already has the molds ready and experimenting with different material right now. i think he said something about HPO? which as far as i know is very similar to a plastic.

maybe he will notice this post and grace me with a visit.
I certainly would buy even a test set, I just need functionality.
