where can i get a rad drain plug

okay so i found my radiator leak, it's coming from my drain plug, when i went to take it off it fell apart...

does anyone know where i can order one? i searched the forum and the internet and no luck...tomorrow i'm going to visit a rad shop to see if they may have one...

Believe it or not, the garden center at Wal-mart sells little plastic garden hose caps that fit well. I assume here that you are refering to the black cap located on a T in the heater line, and not a plug in the radiator itself.

the "T" fitting in the heater core line is aftermarket. its a Flush and fill kit. some aftermarket radiators have a drain plug, unlike the stock ones. I beleive you can get them from rock auto. www.Rockauto.com

Check out the HELP! section at autozone, advance auto, whatever. They should have what you need. I know my friend has had to replace a couple broken ones before and I can double check where he got his, but I am almost sure he got one of the HELP! products.

Hector, Where you able to resolve the drain plug issue. I did the same thing and broke off radiator drain plug and have not been able to locate one.
even the hardware stores and auto parts store do not seen to have what is needed.
