My new flywheel
just picked it up today. Its a 8lbs aluminum flywheel with a replaceable steel friction plate. Its a Fidanza flywheel and I only paid $330 Canadian tax included. It fits 86+ N/A FC so it should work well with my S4 transmission. I'm getting a Exedy clutch to mate up to her. I so can't wait for the racing season to start.

Nice looking flywheel.
I read on Rotary Resurrection about having to use a special counter weight on aftermarket flywheels because they don't come with one and need it. Do you have such a thing?

i already have a lightened flywheel on the car and a drag race on that. I do plan on drag racing on this flywheel, i always keep full throttle on shifts just have to be quick. I do have the rear counter weight already on the engine because of the other flywheel. Fidanza says its 8 pounds i dont think that is true. She feels heavier to me.

The counter weight came with the 13B-PP when i bought it. The engine was in pieces and needed a new rear iron. It split at the upper tension bolt when the engine was supercharged. I haven't install the flywheel yet cause i haven't received my exedy clutch. My counter weight has also been drilled and tapped for a chev auto trans flywheel if i ever decided to use this engine in a full on drag car.
