no is's not the igniters, it's the condensers, i asked at autozone and they said that they were not required but the haynes manual says it has them, they are the small melal canister things with 1 wire going to them, it has 2 1 mounted to the dizzy and 1 mounted to the rear houseing. i think thats what they are . thanks

^yep. for 79-85 all models. blackdragonauto doesn't have them and neither does mazdatrix (i dont think). U can always get them at your local mazda dealership....

Typical junkyard pocket item if you can find them... :)

Racing Beat still has 79-80 condensors but not sure if they work with later models. You could call and ask. They are found under the bargain bin.

cmon...the most I would imagine a dealership asking for it would be $6-10

ok thanks! i just got home or i would have replied sooner, it hasent been a very good day for me because i was cruising around with my buds in my jetta and not paying attention when i tapped the rear of a toyota pickup at about 5 mph, luckaly the truck did not get a scratch and the driver was nice. now i have 2 cars to fix, (the po of my 85 rx7 wrecked her). :wallbash:
