gas mileage in a rotary?!! towing it will yield the best mileage but I digress: I played with my mileage results for awhile I've learned I get better mileage running the car a bit harder vs. bogging it about town the rotaries just don't like the low rpms (under 3k) |
I assume that all of you penny pinching cheap skates who plan your life around saving two bucks a week in gas on a car that you're supposed to "have fun driving" also spend your entire sundays cutting cupons out of the news paper, using your hand instead of toilet paper and eating ramen noodles in the dark.
Must suck. |

Must suck. Must be nice living the dream with a line of credit any credit card company will happily extend you till all you can afford is the minimum payment or have a yuppie salary? If I drove my fun car as much as I wanted with current fuel prices - I would be doing the above you mentioned. Thankfully, I don't drive 1/10th as much as I used to, but it still costs the same. I won't eat ramen noodles, or not buy toilet paper, or save just 2 bucks in gas per week..... I think the moral is no one would pinch pennys if they didn't have to in order to get by. |
You dont drive a rollback and a tow truck you have to put fuel in so STFU fuel n00bs.

Honestly I haven't found much difference 'round town between driving hard and not so far as the economy goes. Even with a few Solo II events in one tank I still average 16-17 MPG for pure city driving. In order to see a big enough economy boost to really matter at the pumps I'm afraid you're going to have to not drive the RX-7. That's why I have a CRX. When it runs, that is. Stupid CRX.

on the highway keep it at 3500rpm in 5th gear i got 30mpg woot
|
stay out of the secondaries
