Wheels??
Can anyone give me a good site for some sports wheels for a 1980 rx7. 4x110mm??
Thanks alot |
There aren't any.
Most wheels have to be purchased second hand. The only place that I know of that sells new wheels for our cars is Diamond Racing Wheels, but those are steel circle-track wheels, which is probably not what you're looking for. |
Note the wheels in the above posters sig: revolutions are super hot and pop up on ebay now and then. I think there is a set for sale in the 1st gen classified section right now for 500, if I'm not mistaken. On top of being lightweight, they are totally period correct. The original ones are no longer produced.

I have 2 sets of wheels for sale in the 1st gen parts section, 1 set is the Revolutions, and I have yet to see a nicer set anywhere. The other set is made by Rockwell. They are in good condition too, but I'm not happy with the powdercoating job I did on them. If you would like a different powdercoat on the Rockwells, the price will double, or I could professionally paint them for an additional $150 in the color of your choice. I will not warant the current powdercoat finsh on them.
Here is the link to the ad. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=644577 If you want something taller than 13" wheels, you will need to look hard, be patient and be be prepared to pay considerably more. |
Those are nice Revolutions, trochoid!
How far out do those stick out of the wheel wells? |
Panasports, ftw.
Doesn't Konig still make the Rewinds in our size as well? |

Rota wheel is making the RB in a 13 by 8 wheel with a 4 on 110.
They look like Panasports and cost about $100 each. |
Mine are TSW Hockeheim R's. I would imagine they sell more than just the Hockenheim R for our cars, but I do have the SE. Can anyone confirm if the SE is equally hard to find wheels for?

jlb motorsports. they have konig rewinds 15x7 20mm offset. great wheels i got a full set. 500 bucks for 4 shipped i think. its in the sale section or just conact hikaru on the forum or email for his site. I love mine

Konig makes some called Rewinds and they are 15x7 with a 4x110 bolt patern. I cann't remember the web site but you can order them from any dealer that sells them.

i made adapters for my 85 gsl. they were under 200.00 the reason i made them are because i have 3 sets of rims from my acura i use to have. the adapters are
4x110 to 4x114 they look and fit good |
there wheels like myn called enkei's usally no easey to find
look in my sig |
Do you know what offset i will need for a 1980?
|
Offset varies with rim width, backspace does not. Don't confuse the two.

Would the 13 x 8 be too wide for a 205/60-13, or are they better for the larger 225/45-13 and those sorts of tires? |
