Wheel sizing with five lug conversion.

I ran some searches but didn't find anything in reference to how much of an increase in offset does the five lug conversion gain/lose if any.

The reason I ask is we have a set of 17X8" +45 offset Enkei designed rims for a 2006 Acura TL. I'm hoping that when I convert to five lug these would fit. Mostly because I can get them for free and all I'd need is tires and they aren't bad looking.

Did I mention the part about them being free? I just don't want to take them and not have a use for them you know?

I'm a little surprised no one has chimed in yet, I figured that someone out there did a five lug conversion and measured how much if any change occurred...

you'll most likely need a spacer up front... but the rear will fit fine

most front wheel drive rims won't fit on there without spacers. It pretty much retains stock position. So back spacing of 4.5" is required.

Here's my custom 15x8 Rims on my car:
