wheel bearing question?

car is pretty much done and waiting for paint. last thing on the list was tie rods and idler arm and wheel bearings. has anybody here ordered the wheel bearing kit from Black Dragon Auto? if so, do you know what brand of bearings they supply??? (koyo, timken, ect.)

Question #2: do you know what brand of tie rod ends (and idler arm too) they supply? Moog maybe?

thanks in advance!!!!

Go to rock auto for tie rods cheep and you know their moog. And I used mazda trix for bearings. Which were koyo and mazda seal/ dust cover.

ahhh thankyou sir, your right it is cheaper for the tie rods from rock auto and i will go the koyo route from mazdatrix.

Your welcome man. May be a bit more for the wheel bearings from mazda trix but you know what your getting.

ahhh crap, too bad i can't edit the title but here we go! i forgot about getting an oil filter and don't want to start a new thread for something small. I get a 50% off all k&n products using the work account. I want to know whose using the HP1004 and whose using the HP1008. Was there a thread tolerance change for the oil filter pedistal from 91' to 92'? reason being is i was going to be lazy and just buy it from mazdatrix and not wait a full day for it to ship but notice its a different part number. But mazdatrix said it was fine and k&n says don't do it! thought id better get some confirmation from a 3rd party before i order a few.

There was no U.S. 92 model year RX-7. I'd stick with the HP1004 because it's the one made for the GSL-SE and it has a larger capacity.

Specifications

HP1004
Canister type
3.48 in. H
0.6 lb weight
3.12 in. OD
M20 x 1.5-6h thread ID

HP1008
Canister type
2.91 in. H
0.5 lb weight
2.66 in. OD
M20 x 1.5 thread ID

I use Mazda factory filters exclusively now. Totally satisfied thus far.

my bad 91 to 93 same thing, thanks repu, even k&n directly said to use 1004 that it had a tighter tolerance and i just wanted to make sure. weird that mazdatrix said that 1008 would work. i don't want to stretch the pitch on the pedistal even though their both M20x1.5! thanks alot man!

I use the mobil one oil filters, built like the K&N but a lot cheaper. Has gotten excellent reviews
as well. Just don't use FRAM.

I got koyos from Atkins rotary on eBay, pretty sure they're cheaper than mazdatrix.
