What wheels with "Big Brake Kit"

What kind of backspacing did the FB/SA owners end up with after installing the BBK? The TII hubs look like they stick out a bit farther than the SA hubs did. What is everyone using for wheels? Ideally I'd like to get something like this drag wheel up front. (matches my rears)

But it's a 15x4 with only an Offset of -19.00mm (Backspacing (in):1.750 in.) I'm thinking that will stick out horribly and a 15" rim may not clear the TII caliper.

Re-speed BBK? With my FC subframe swap and turbo brakes I'm running a 16x7 +29 up front with a 5.125" backspace. Fitment is right where I wanted it. I'd keep in mind every FC subframe install seems to be a little different. If I were to mount my wheels on someone else's car with a FC subframe swap it could be a little different. Hope this gives you a idea though. My SSR reverse mesh clear the caliper and brakes too.. just hit the "bump" right under the MAZDA logo on the calipers cause of the pad size.

Thanks for the input!

Looking for a skinny “drag wheel” setup. I’m using the factory SA/FB sub frame and struts. I’m guessing with the addition of the spacer on the spindle and the FC hub I’m going to be screwed fitment wise. I’ll probably need some sort of fender flare to make it look remotely flush/decent. Wheels stuck out a tiny bit with the OEM strut.

What bolt pattern do you need and size. I still have my old set-up, 4x110. 15*5 centerlines in front and 15*8 in rear but its a centerline look alike by american racing.
Im also taking apart an 81 so i have the front strut/spindle assembly but exactly sure what you need as far as the sub frame. Best to PM me ur # so we can talk further.

I had 16x7.5 and 16x8.5 +14 BBS RS on mine and the fit was very good in the rear aside from the rear axle sitting off to the left a bit and with a touch of camber up front the upper lip was juuuuuuuuusssttt inside the fender.

Mazda ran a 15x6 with a 40 offset wheel with those brakes

The pics above are of my car. It's the 5 lug TII pattern 5x4.5.

Hoping I can find a similar offset with a narrow rim.
