What is involved in a Turbo install?

I would like to know what is needed or needs to be done to put a Turbo on a 85 GSL-SE. I don't need crazy boost just a modest to good increase.

Thanks

you need more that what aaron cake did, gslse ecu are not good for turbo because it only controls 2 injectors,if your planning to doit, ethier get a halteck or microtech ecu or go blowthru. another great website that tells you everything is www.turbofb.com. it will tell you the ups and downs of it

Well Silly,

It's easy. All you need is a Turbo.
Some Zip Ties, and duct tape.

2 hour job, max.

Why don't you give the guy some real info?
It ain't always easy to search, as that brings up way to many useless results.
I think the turbo FB site should help a lot: http://www.turbofb.com/
BTW: when I click the turbo FB link in Eddieotary's post that's not working, yet the one in my favourite sites is??? (same adress?)

Duct tape thats all! I have bout two rolls in the garage and a new leaf blower. Shit I can have it up and running in about a day. How much boost do you think i can get out of a stock 13B and a new Brigs and Straton leaf blower??

It used to be a sticky... I dunno why it's not any more. That and turboFB.com are pretty easy to find. There might be another one or two in the archives/forum. There are plenty of people who have posted about their turbocharge swaps.

Best of luck!
