That's a 12AT. First turbocharged/fuel injected rotary ever....

It's a four port. I'm not sure if it's got the original Hitachi HT18-BM turbocharger, but if it does, the turbo only makes 6.2 PSI of boost. It makes 160 Bhp stock. Ad an intercooler, and you can make 180 to 190hp using stock boost. Up the boost a little bit to 12 PSI and that motor can reliably put out 240hp.

I'd like one =P

Oops, silly me. I read the title of the auction '12A Turbo Rotary Engine' without reading the item description. It's just a turbo'd carburated 12a I guess.

coldy13 Feb 25, 2003 10:24 PM

It's a really goofy turbo setup. It looks like it's a suck through setup, meaning the gas/air mixture gets sucked through the turbo and pressurized. Can't run an intercooler with this setup.

WackyRotary Feb 25, 2003 10:26 PM

looks as one of those silly draw through setups, very primative, yet simple. Ah well, it claims to have 200hp.

well it wasnt an offical 12AT... it says it was all custom, built in 75. That would be about right considering the dual distributors.
