What has been done to my engine?

I picked up this '84 GSL last summer and am not quire sure of everything that's been removed or modified, but I definitely know this isn't how the original 12a came.

Things I do know:
- Aftermarket intake
- Mikuni carb (choke cable isn't hooked up to it though?)
- Removed rats nest?
- Removed AC

What else can you guys help me out with? There are quite a few cables, electrical connectors, and pipes just dangling that I'd like to know if I need to hook back up or can remove altogether, or literally any other information about this engine that you can tell by looking at it.

It does currently run and drive though, so whatever was done hasn't seemed to damage it that badly.

Thanks!

Wow, lots of changes, in addition to your list, all smog devices are missing, prob. hard to get it smogged

Luckily I don't need to have that done, it's too old for Ontario to care about it producing smog.

Would a Canadian FB come with one? Seems like something we might need up here.

That's an FB sub-zero tank.

The fish eye pictures are giving me a headache

My SA has a sub zero tank. But the one on this car is pretty well useless being that it doesn't have a Nikki.

Get a header, especially since you don't have to worry about some eco Nazi's ruining your car with smog.

Other than that just go through it and remove all the un-used/ unnecessary bits. Cool thing about an N/A and no A/C car is how clean and tidy the under hood area can be. You don't need have the stuff I've got under my hood. ;)

Someone added the Mikuni and did a half-assed rats nest delete. As others advised, get a RB street port exhaust (header, midpipes, and muffler), costs a penny but well worth it. Then proceed to clean up the
dangling bits and grin a bit.
