13B Turbo

i voted for the T2 motor simply because i figured they will be cheaper and easier to find than the Gen III or importing a Cosmo motor. also i believe i heard that there is an issue with the SE front cover fitting over their oil pumps (and i've never touched one, so i don't know if the T2 pump bolts up to them).

however, aren't the Gen III motor and Cosmo 13B the same thing?

diabolical1: no, cosmo engine have bigger ports that the fd but the fd engine makes more power out of the box that the cosmo

Yeah cause the cosmo's twin turbos are 'doorstops' err small, I mean...

Guess which one I voted for :)

for one grand you can't go wrong with a TurboII motor.

How many miles on your current GSL-SE engine?

eddierotary 08-15-02 03:54 PM

about 94,000.

well i found a tII car (rusted) ill gonna talk to the guy to see how much he want for it and the condition of the engine. ill give you the updates

ok I voted TII... for the price vs performace you can't beat it.

What I'd do.. Stop buying drivetrain components for the -SE and start stockpiling TII parts for awhile as you find good deals. Then when you *think* you have all the TII parts, then go for it!
