What does this plate bolted to the axle do?

Need to determine if it is needed on a Gp2 rally car.

Yup. GSL-SE axle. The GS has the same plate.

IIRC from my 83 GS - don't the brake hard lines run across there? Is it just an overkill shield?

t_g_farrell 12-18-18 10:20 AM

Ok, thats what I think is the shield for the rear brakes lines.

Benjamin4456 12-18-18 11:17 AM

Yep, heat shield for the rear brake line. That brake line is pretty fun to bend when replacing it...

Thanks all. It will go in the skip.

[QUOTE = Greg Cozier; 12319756] Sie müssen feststellen, ob es für ein Gp2-Rallyeauto erforderlich ist.
