What about Camber kits...Do they make them?

I'm curious if anyone makes a camber kit that fits us first gens. I'm talking about a slight one that will correct lowering 1.5 in. Also I haven't seen any first gens with any sick camber. If anyone has any pics that would be cool to see.

Yup RE-Speed Dose have good ones but they dont seem to give you the amount that you need.

Kentetsu has them and right now im makeing a custom cross member to get more out of the kit.

The camber that the plates give you is good for Slow corners but at mid to high speed they just dont seem to have what it takes.

^- I don't understand. With my ground control I can get over 3 degrees of camber, what do you mean about low and mid to high speed? Part of the problem might be that you should run the bump steer spacers to correct the geometry.

The quality of the Respeed camber plates is 1st rate. I'm not currently able to fully utilize them at the moment because the top of the standard size spring hits the inside of the strut tower, which limits the amount of adjustment available.

My options at this point (since I wouldn't mind a bit more camber) are either to move to coilovers or the modified cross member that Respeed is now offering. Since the crossmember will also move me in the direction of rack and pinion steering, that's what I'll be going with. Besides, I just put the RB springs and Illuminas on last year and I still need to get my money's worth out of them. :)

But even with the limited movement available to me, what there was made a hell of a difference in the handling. It didn't look like much change, just looking at the car, but I had much more "dig" when coming into the corners than I did without the plates installed.

I've still got a long ways to go, to get my car where I want it to be, but I feel like she's finally starting to "get her teeth" now.

Nick, to be honest I believe that you will run into this "limited movement" issue with any camber plates. There is only so far you can move the strut before you hit the inside of the strut tower. I don't think you'll get full movement out of any kit unless you make further modifications.

I looked at a few different designs before I made my choice, and I couldn't really see any differences as far as how they moved. There was variation in how they clamped the strut into position (some obviously cheap), but that was about it. In the end it came down to quality. These are much beefier and "polished" than the others were. Ain't no cheap shit going on my car! :)

Yep guys, the amount of possible camber will be dictated by stock spring diameter way before you run out of adjustment on our camber plates or anyones for that matter. Simple matter of two objects can not take up the same space. Simple solution is to go coil over if you need more camber, whether you purchase our kit or someone else's.

Anyone have pictures of what camber you have. I'm trying to get an idea of what it would look like.

I've seen some chamber plates floating around ebay, not sure of the quality though.
