Collectable Rifle Ammo??? Why do you collect rifle ammo, should'nt you go out and shoot it?
Just a question? John |
Only thing I got for the 7 was a Mazdatrix Dash Cover (I'll make a thread and post pics when I get around to installing it).
Otherwise I got a new camera, couple books, and a few movies (Indiana Jones boxset :) ). So yes, it was Merry :D |

John I handload almost all of my ammo, and my loads are developed specifically for the rifle to be used in. So I have lots of "shooting" ammo that's more accurate than anything I can buy. But I like to collect high-quality European ammo such as Norma, RWS, DWM, SAKO, and Hirtenberger, mostly from the '60s. Sometimes I am tempted to shoot a box, but have been able to restrain myself so far. What's worse is that I have a beautiful SAKO Vixen rifle in .222 Rem. (my favorite caliber) that was made in 1965 and is UNFIRED. Now that's tempting! But I have a .222 Rem. SAKO Riihimaki that was made in 1951 that I shoot pretty regularly, so I've been able to keep the Vixen in it's unfired condition. Hope that answers your question. -Mike |
Best gift I got? Time with my kids, from Christmas to January 3rd. Woo hoo! We just got back from playing laser tag. :D
Next best, a promise from my wife to get me two RX-7s we found sitting in a field in a small town. :D :D |
