Amazing as it may seem, yes the Yaw Power Products website has indeed been updated. This man is in fact one of the great guru's of the Rotary and I look forward to more of his tech articles.

yeah but dont look forward to him returnoing emails or phone calls :) trust me

he emailed me in less than 3 days each time i had a question!!

I can understand Yaws situation. I have been over to RX-7.com(Rotary Performance) many times, they get so many phone calls and emails, they dont have time to breath!!! They now close for lunch and on Saturdays. They have to focus on the customers that are paying and have had to filter out the free bee questions......its not a matter of they dont want to talk(they love to talk rotary) they just have to focus on what pays the bills.:)

I can't wait to look at the new materials. I have learned a great deal from Paul's site!

I find pauls site very vague on everything. Some of his info relating to flowbenches is informational in theory, but gives no real data I can use with out getting access to one myself. Ofcourse giving away exprimental acquired data don't make you any money. I give him credit for the exprimentation side of things, but very little can be used to my advantage. Some of the most important usable info is the timing write-up, importance of correct fuel pressure, and telling people not to hog out their intake manifolds without knowing exactly how it effects flow.

He concentration on the stock parts-mod'd nikki and near stock 12a's, and interesting header he made don't interest me much when you can buy aftermarket carb systems/headers that are great from the get-go and easy to get from Racing Beat or other easy-to-get-a-hold of companies. Not to say mod'd nikki's don't perform well, but for the trouble he puts in to it, a holley/weber/delerto kit can be had for about the same price used over the net classifieds and recieved quickly.

the prime reason for using a Yaw modified Nikki is for racing classes that state you must retain the stock carb

and you can't blame the guy for not giving out data on the internet, it is his livelyhood afterall.

And still, I have a stock Nikki that is gummed up but still good. I haven't yet found the resources and patience to rebuild it myself, so I'm buying a stock from another board member. I'll probably send my stock one to paul. Even if he takes months with rebuilding it, I won't need it right away, and it'll be better than my stock nikki, for less than a Holley carb replacement (which I plan to get when I get my engine ported)

Rebuilding a stock carb isint hard. Just takes patience and a clean work area.

Check it out! He's updated his site yet again and I quote ".... the dedicated line (Along with someone to answer it.) will be in by early next month."

Plus, it looks like he's got his sights set on the Renesis. Damn! I can't wait to see what he comes up with!
