Weber Blow-through Drivability and Impressions?

Well, due to recent events in my life, I am contimplating stepping down my project a little. I will give a quick rundown and few questions for people running similar setups.

Jspec S5 TII Engine and Tranny(pray for good compression)
S5 turbo with ported WG (upgrade to Rotaryshack hybrid later)
Manual boost controller
Weber 45 or 48 DCOE prepped
Upper manifold adapter
Make carb hat or buy from Rotaryshack
Walbro or equivalent external EFI pump
Malory regulator
Larger lines from tank
MSD and DFIS
Locked Dizzy
Ebay intercooler
Make all piping and exhaust myself

I will tune myself with a LM1 wideband, and hopefully some advice from Robert and others who have knowledge in this area. I think I can do most of it for around 4-5k. I havn't built a parts list yet, but I will know specifics pretty soon. This extremely cheaper then my other plans. My questions are:

Is the driveability of a blow-through setup bad? I have heard of many people driving them daily and having no problems. I would just like to get some opinions from people who have them and to hear their impressions of their setups. I understand the characteristics of a Weber and even a carb for that matter.
I would like to achive around 300whp with the hybrid turbo. This will come later with a rebuild.

Well, this is what I have been contemplating. I was thinking of a Camden, but I can make more power for less money with this setup.

Opinions?

Thanks

That setup sounds to be very close to what I have built myself. I am happy with the power it makes, however dont find it to be very drivable. I believe I set my expectations to high on the drivability part. I did drive mine daily for about a month then just got fed up of tuning to try to make it drive like a FI car, wont happen! I get maybe 200kms to a tank, I always would smell like my car, and it was hard not to drive like a dumbass(fast).
So I would say build the car if you really desire it, just make sure you have another vehicle on hand to drive when you need a break.
Or better yet, dont waste your money on the carb. Just shell out a little more cash and get a very basic FI setup, that way you will avoid all the annoying little things about trying to tune a weber to perfection.
