Watts link problem on 8.8 Granny's rear diff solved?

I got my 8.8 in from granny's and one side of the diff sticks out more than the other say 1 1/2''. I called grant at granny's and he said most rx7's fb's were unequal from the factory a bit is this true?
He went on to say the supplied rods should be used to center the diff and I will be able to run upwards of a 275 on back.

Anyone with this set up run into the same problem and have any pics of the rods installed?

I call BS on Grant, casue you can swap the axles from left to right withno mods, also the axles are listed as the same part number here in Japan. So I think you need to send it back and tell him to fix it right.

yea the only thing i've heard is usually about ride heights. for some reason one side of the car tends to sit lower than the other. most times it comes up in a post with regards to springs being saggy or even new. Unless something has been bent while you drifted into a curb, i see no reason for things not to be square.
