Water Accumulating Heeeeeeelp

ok so I hear this massive sloshing when i accelerate brake turn etc from the back inside of my car!!

I finally reach my hand down the hole on the left side where the drainage tube runs back where the tail lights are

AND THERE IS A POOL OF WATER!!!

has anyone had this problem? How does it get in there the drainage tube is intact.

more importantly then how can i get down in there I mean i can squeeze my hand through to feel the water but thats it.

I really dont want my poor 7 to rust out!:crying:

there are drain holes in on the bottom by the hatch seal. blast them out next time you wash your car. also inspect the seal for any damage.
are you getting water in the spare tire spot?

M7 called it on the money...get some serious compressed air and blow all the junk through the tubes that are attached to the two holes you'll find in the drainage channels around your hatch seal. Home compressor set at 130 psi made easy work of my problem I thought I didn't have early this year...:rlaugh:

For that matter, if you have the sunroof hole on the roof, blow some high pressure air through the two holes you'll find up there whilst you got that thar hose out.;)

When I first bought my car, It looked like both the drain tubes were running where they are suppose to go, but one was just running right into my fenderwell? I had to stick my hand down in there and frig around till i finally found the hole where it goes, and stuck it in...that sounded dirty.

Also , I was getting water dripping down near where the jack mounts, there's a seam where 2 of the metal panels meet, and water was running down it from the ouside to the inside of my car. Little tar fixed that.

hmmm ok thanks guys, i will give all those things a good inspection and shoot the drain lines out with air. I just don't know how all that water could have got down there unless there is a major issue. It's seriously a fishtank down there. Someone suggested I just drill drain holes.
