VW MK2 coilovers?

Will tehy work on my FB? I'm scrapping my MK2 Jetta and have some decent coilovers on it, should I even attempt it?

I'd say put 'em up for sale, and buy the right stuff for the FB...

Try it, whats the worst that could happen? they don't fit? and if they work be it stock or slightly modified then we have a cheap plentiful source of suspension upgrades. Try it out and let us know

Given that the spindle on the front strut of the rx7 is part of the strut housing as well as the rears having the spring and shock separate from each other I'm going to go with no.

MKI and early MKII Jettas have strut cartridge inserts just like FBs do. If the tube diameter is the same you could sould be able to use the collars.

I also remember reading somewhere that coil overs for the rwd corolla gts can work with some modification.
