vacuum leak at oil filler neck?
vacuum leak at oil filler neck?
My neck is a little loose and I cant seat it. I tried using a block of wood and a hammer but to no avail . She won't seat. Could this cause a vacuum leak? any ideas to tighten 'er up?

Yeah, if the block of wood and a hammer doesnt do it, get another one. Yours is probably just warped or bent funny and wont sit right. Heck, get a new one, clean it and paint it while youre at it

I believe that the base of the neck is threaded and is screwed into the center housing. I would recommend that you remove it (counter clock-wise) and check its condition. Then re-thread it back into the housing. Be careful not to let the debris that hammering it may have caused- loosened crap or the threads themselves etc...
