Uprated front strut top mounts available?

Are there any uprated strut top mounts available that closely resemble the originals? Not looking for aluminium camber and castor adjustment plates. Rubber mounted roller bearing mounts is what I'm after.

Check on mazdatrix and/or racingbeat websites but I don't think so. Also try t3, they may have something close to what you are looking for.

Take a look at Rockauto also, they carry OEM style mounts but I am unsure of their quality.

Also double check, but I think that the OEM strut mount is used to help dial in alignment. It can be rotated to change camber or caster I think and you will want to pay attention when replacing.

Best Strut mount you can put on the car is what came on it oem. KYB. Part# SM5304,still available and for reasonable price.
Another option is MOOG K9569 also available and what'i'd use if i couldn't get KYB part.

Yes the strut top can be oriented in four positions as it's offset to accomplish caster camber change. For a street driven car, rotate strut top to face in toward engine bay and back toward windshield. There's not a lot of camber/caster change 1/2-3/4 degree but this position will give most negative camber 0-1/2 maybe 3/4. Every car is different. My own car was 1/2 negative driver side and 3/4 negative on right side. Caster will be more positive and more caster can be added by strut rod adjustment at bottom of radiator support,up to about 5 degrees. Makes steering wheel return to center more sharply but raises steering input effort at low speed,my personal preference. Toe set 1/16"-1/4",good set of springs/struts/shocks and you have a fun driving car.

...and this conversation presumes you have an FB, not an SA, since these are diff parts and the SA tops are NLA anywhere that I can find.

The factory mounts are ball bearings mounted in rubber. They're actually really good as far as mounts go.
