twin carb intake
 

Anyone know of a company that sells an intake manifold for twin carbs? Just looking into different options for a new intake.

twm sells one. it is a straigh manifold that would put the dco's above the headers..
i am still looking for someone that makes a dual wrap around style.

I have a old school Rotary Engineering (no longer with us, a moment of pause for the fallen) out of Santa Barba, CA aluminum intake that has two (count'em) 2 BBL. Weber TIPO carbies. It's bad ass but I have no clue where you'd get'em. New all of you local gargarages, if they have any wankel motors, parts, or anything they'll usuall part with them for very little $$. Try Junkyards, who knows you might find a car with a twin turbo motor that you could buy the whole car for a couple hundred. Good luck

There are manifolds made for dual side drafts sitting on top of motor, DCOE style, and for dual downdrafts IDA style.

European Motorworks had one of those dual carb manifolds in their display case a few months ago. I *think* it was dual downdraft IDA style. Call them and ask what they can get. Jorge does the Mazda stuff there. 1.800.722.8678

I have seen pics of australian rotaries with the dual wrap around style DCOE carb setup.

Carb jetting and synchronization are a whole other issue.

yea the R.E. is HARD to findypu can get the carbs new but you cant get the intake... but that intake is THICK. I just happen to be selling my dual dcd r.e. intake....for a 12a. Im going t2 :)pm me if your intrested

tuning is a bit harder but torque down low is going to be awesome.
