tune up parts

so i'm back in a first gen for the first time in 8 years! Picked up a GSLSE over the weekend, runs good but needs some loving. Mainly interior/ front end body work.

But I notice the local auto parts store don't stock anything anymore!

plugs, nope
wires, nope
cap, rotor, nope
fuel filter?!? nope..

so where's the place to buy these days?

It's almost like starting all over again, but very happy to have a rotary back in my life.

I got all my tune up parts from autozonethey had everything you listed in stock if you need any hoses though or anything else good luck they're all special order

Rock Auto usually has most of this stuff in stock, often at wholesale closeout prices, like plugs, dizzy cap and rotor, wires, fuel filters, brake rotors and pads, etc.

If you put one big order in you can save quite a bit on shipping and cut the cost to half of what you'd spend at autozone.

Welcome back!

ebay. Search for the part then sort by lowest price + shipping.

Advance, Autozone, Oreilley stocks 12a fuel filters and can next day plugs, seals, bearings, alternators, starters but thats about it.

+1 on rockauto.com and even with shipping its /12 the cost of the advancedzone stores out
there. Plus they have everything.

Some parts are starting to get hard to find like right front semi loaded brake calipers. Be aware
the parts are starting to dry up quickly. Won't be as easy sourcing parts as it was even 8 years
ago.

I pretty much get everything from Rockauto, although I'll go to Advance Auto once in a while if there's something I can't wait on. They won't have the parts in stock, but they can get them for me next day and can get the OEM NGK parts.

Parts I used to find reasonable on RockAuto, I'm finding better deals through Amazon.

I still try to buy local if possible.
