Tried some Drifting the other day

i went out to a city north west of mine where its a little less populated and went at it on some back roads real heavy footed.

i had a lot on my mind and find this very relaxing,

honestly without my 7 i would have jumped off about 50 bridges by now,

back to the story...

with fear in my head of a rotted frame and tons of trees all around i put the pedal to the metal,
this was a nice twity road the at anything under 75 would seem a bit weak and mild,

but running along the twists in the road at 100 + its seemed like a viscious paved road begging for some melted rubber to be layed down,

on each side of the road where rock beds,
if one wheel where to slip in it would defintly be over,
but i pressed on trying ever so hard to control the wheel and down shift to 4th around the very nice bends in the road,

then in the back of my mind i thought about drifting.
mainly because i normally drag race and dont get to turn much.

however when i daily drive i can tell every hard corner i take my car its at the edge of breaking loose,
so i go for it...

starting out slow i work up the never and get it sliding,
very fun but very scary when your not on a closed circuit.

there where alot of dangers but i could not help myself to press on.

and today i am very proud to say that through all my efforts and lack of experience i performed some very nice turns.

the car is so very easy to control in an otherwise uncontrolable situation.

and people wonder how i can stand next to my primered car, smile and call her my baby;)

Leave it to me to point out the lame points, but I dont think that you would be around to jump off the last 49 after the first one :(.

i was trying to push the fact that i wouldnt be here right now,

my car is the second most important thing in my life right below my mother,

it was the first for a long time until my mom visited the hospital 3 times in one year.

Isnt drifting the shit?
My mom has a fit every time I come home with the my skinny tires on the back or when My car reaks of rubber. shes like you've been sliding your car through corners again havn't you. I dont like you doing that. that is so dangerous.

THen one day when she was riding with me I did a nice perfect drift turning left through a intersection. She freaked out but after she calmed down she realized that it isnt that bad and that I knew what I was doing.

yarg....

Drifting...yes...fun...

I do mine in parking lots late at night just for the practice and not having roads to jump off, I am hating this though because I am going through a set of tires per 2 months...yarg.

I just love having the wheels pointed "the wrong way" while going through a turn.

Theres this one turn that i have to take to get to the mall, it's this twisty, wide, downhill turn, i always break my rear-end loose on. Very fun. I want to find a series of turns so that i can take them without having ANY traction! Now that would be fun. Except for the time that i took this turn i didnt know to well in front of my work, and i over-conpensated with the steering wheel...instead of having the wheels pointed towards the road i just turned the wheel to lock...and the whole car just spun out full 360. I love my car. It's made to turn, and that's what it will do!
