?Thread size for a shift knob?

My factory 5 speed shift knob is falling apart. I have been looking at greddy, sparco and momo shift knobs, but I don’t know the thread size for an 80. Does anyone know what the thread sizing is? The 7 is an LS but I don't think that will have to do with anything.

i believe it's 14mm. i'm pretty sure those shifter knobs have come with several threaded adaptors. so it should fit ANY aplication.

The SA and earlier had 10mm x 1.25. It's the same thread pitch as bellhousing to engine bolts. Note starter bolts are coarse at 10mm x 1.5 and tension bolts are fine at 10mm x 1.00.

rxtasy3 is probably thinking of the oil pan drain plug and spark plugs. ;)
